今学期も本格的に動き出し、忙しくなってきたころと思います。
今回CJCは比較的短時間で楽しめるMovie Nightを企画しました。
上映作品につきましては、今回八本の映画のなかから一本アンケートにて
メンバーの皆様に選んでいただきます。
映画の準備期間が必要となりますので、アンケートは火曜日の夜に
締め切らせていただきます。

It's been a month since the spring semester has started.
We're sure everyone is getting busier with classes, but don't forget
to have some fun!
CJC is hosting a movie night, a relatively short event, for all of you
to enjoy time together.
We will be choosing a film to watch out of the eight movies on our list.

movies you want to watch at the movie night.
Since we need time for preparation, we will be closing the survey on
Tuesday night, so make sure to fill the survey out by then.

CJCは今学期もウェルカムパーティーを開催いたします！
おいしい中華料理と、楽しいゲームを交えながら新メンバーとの交流を深められる絶好の機会です。

参加ご希望の方は、お手数ですが以下のフォームでサインアップした上、
Sproul PlazaのCJCテーブルにて前売り参加費をお支払いください。
テーブリングの時間は、1/29～2/6の内、平日の朝9時半～午後2時です（但し、2/6は午後3時まで）。
サインアップは2/6午後3時に閉め切らせて頂きますが、当日参加も大歓迎です。

当日は、午後6時に現地で、あるいは午後5時30分にMoffitt Library前にて集合してくたさい。
MoffittからはCJCオフィサーがレストランまで徒歩にてご案内致します。

Greetings from Cal Japan Club! CJC is hosting the semi-annual Welcome Party. We hope that everyone can come enjoy some time together with delicious Chinese food and mini games with prizes.

Date: Saturday, Feb 7, 2009, 6-9pm
Location: Mandarin Garden Restaurant (Shattuck & University)
Door price: $13 pre-sale OR $18 at the door

If you are attending, please go to the bottom of this post and complete the RSVP form.
And please don't forget to visit our table on Sproul Plaza to pay the pre-sale price between 9:30am-2pm from Jan 29 to Feb 6 (school days only). Please note that the sign-up closes at 3pm on Feb 6, but you can still come on the day of event if you don't sign up (for an extra fee).

On the event date, please join us at the restaurant at 6pm, or meet our officers in front of the Moffitt Library at 5:30pm and the they will escort you (approx. 10 min. walk).

Please note that food may run out at some point. You are welcome to arrive late on the event date, but unfortunately we will have to ask you for the full price no matter how late you arrive (even if you don't get to eat!) as we'll be paying the restaurant by head-count, not by how many people ate.

最終イベントも無事終わり、たくさんの方々と知り合えたことを嬉しく思います。
来学期に向けて、新しいCJCオフィサーの募集を行います。

オフィサーとして活動する利点をいくつか挙げさせていただきます。

Time flies

こんにちわ。最近なぜか暖かくなってきていますね。
もうすぐセメスターが終わるなんて信じられないくらいに時間が過ぎるのが早いです。
僕は１０月の末からボストンキャリアフォーラムに行ってきました。
日本の学生が約８０００人スーツを着込んで一箇所に固まっているのは異様な光景でした。
面接や企業研究などで疲れがたまりましたが、ロブスターやおいしいお寿司を堪能できたのでとても充実した就活でした。

CJCは今学期最後のディナーイベントを企画中です。
みなさん是非参加してください。
